    Starts: 6:00 pm
    Ends: May 21, 2012 - 7:00 pm
Description: Two meditations and a prayer to get you to your peaceful center and lead you back when you fall astray. If you are reading these words you want peace. So, why isn’t that the state you exist in every minute of every day? Don’t worry. You are exactly where you need to be, having the human experience of separation. But you can be done whenever you want…like a movie. It was fun and now – done. Remember your divine nature whenever and wherever you want using these simple tools. You will learn three ways to help you remember the oneness of the universe if you want to. Come and have fun! By donation. Offered by Lisa Mazzola 303-845-0669, ljmaz@comcast.net.

    Starts: 7:00 pm
    Ends: May 24, 2012 - 8:00 pm
Description: Meet with Psychotherapist Chris Woodward as he facilitates a weekly mindfulness practice. Give yourself the gift of mindfulness and learn to live more fully in
each moment. Come home to yourself.

Mindfulness is a way to quiet and calm the mind by paying nonjudgmental attention to your moment-to-moment experience. It helps restore and maintain a sense of personal balance and develop the skills to avoid emotional, physical depletion, and stress reduction along with:
    • an increased ability to relax.
    • greater energy and enthusiasm for life.
    • an improved capability to deal with short- and long- term stressful situations.
    • a lasting decrease in both physical and psychological symptoms.

While most people realize that stress is a part of their lives, few take time to think about the consequences. Stress, which has physical, emotional and mental ramifications, has been linked with medical or emotional problems such as hypertension, heart disease, PMS, headache, IBS, cancer, diabetes, panic, anxiety, depression, to name a few.

    $10/session. Chris Woodward, 303-242-4827 woodwardpsychotherapy@gmail.com.
