Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine
Teresa Doherty, LAc, DiplOM provides a high quality of care for her clients. She holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland Oregon and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Wyoming. Teresa also graduated from Utah College of Massage Therapy in Salt Lake City, Utah. She combines all of her training into an unique healing experience with knowledge and compassion.
Acupuncture is a form of Natural Medicine that inserts thin needles into acupoints on the body. Research has shown stress and pain relief for a wide range of conditions effecting biological systems such as: musculoskeletal, circulatory, nervous, and psychological systems.

Chinese Herbal Medicine offers a powerful and natural means to heal many imbalances on the physical, mental-emotional and spiritual levels. A formula is suggested from a thorough intake addressing all areas.
Teresa creates a comprehensive treatment plan with each individual in mind.
Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu Massage is a Japanese form of massage that opens up meridians (lines of energy flowing through the body) by applying pressure to various acupoints on the body with the hands. Gentle stretches add to the overall treatment. A highly effective and relaxing treatment that can relieve pain and stress from the body.
Mindfulness
Grant Salada, LCSW has been using Mindfulness techniques in his practice for over a decade. He holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah, and Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from the University of California San Diego. Grant provides individuals and groups to experience all of what life brings in a safe and creative environment.

Mindfulness helps one bring more awareness to the present moment. Therapeutic techniques are used to acknowledge and accept one’s thoughts, feelings, and emotions with loving kindness.
